As part of the series of product updates on AgilePoint NX v8.0 Software Update 2 release, the next one I would like to share is about the Twilio SendGrid Connector. The following process activities have been added

  • Create Contact List
  • Update Contact List
  • Delete Contact List
  • Add or Update Contact
  • Delete Contacts
  • Get Contact
  • Remove Contact From List
  • Add Emails To Suppression Group
  • Delete Emails From Suppression Group
  • Get All Emails From Suppression Group
  • Verify Email Exists In Suppression Group
  • Create Email Design
  • Update Email Design
  • Delete Email Design
  • Send Email
  • Schedule Single Send

Twilio SendGrid is a cloud-based customer communication platform for transactional and marketing email including shipping notifications, friend requests, sign-up confirmations and email newsletters, marketing campaigns etc. Its services can be scaled to meet demand of billions of emails per month.

Please note that AgilePoint NX platform already supported Twilio SMS connector. The new feature is a connector for the process layer where a business process designed in AgilePoint can now interact with Twilio’s SendGrid product to manage your contact lists, contacts, marketing campaigns, email delivery etc.

This video covers end to end scenario for how to configure business process to perform supported SendGrid operations which includes basic concepts like activity configuration, runtime execution etc.

Note: Please note that this video is recorded while this feature is in beta version. Some of the labels and icons might change by the time it goes GA but the general concept of configuring these activities would remains the same.
